No surprise, as she strives for perfection in both her appearance and her home decor. Her pantry, if you can call it that, resembles a perfectly organized supermarket more than a storage room. However, when it comes to Kim’s garden, she delivers a big surprise. It resembles a natural oasis.
Wild Grasses Instead of Perfect Beds
Recently, Kim took her nearly 350 million fans on an Insta-story tour of her garden. What they saw was surprising to some. Enchanted corners, wild grasses, and exotic fruits: Her garden makes many hobby gardeners’ hearts beat faster. Situated on a small hill, there are little paths winding through tall grasses. The whole scene resembles a park with small trails, as there are no fixed paths.

These paths are not only lined with grasses but also with fruit-laden trees. Pomegranates, oranges, peaches, nectarines, apricots, lemons, apples, avocados–Kim can pick whatever she desires. There are also strawberries and blueberries, as well as exotic guava varieties–and a large olive tree providing shade.

But it’s not just fruit; she also grows plenty of vegetables in her garden: kale, Swiss chard, eggplants, pumpkins, peppers. These are in numerous raised beds arranged parallel to each other over many meters.
And for those wondering how one person can eat so much fruit and vegetables alone, there’s no need to worry about waste. Everything the 42-year-old doesn’t use for her family is donated to food banks.

Kim Kardashian Originally Had a Different Garden Vision
Kim Kardashian’s garden wasn’t originally supposed to look so lush and wild. She initially wanted to create a citrus plantation at the top of her backyard hill, according to the blog “Poosh”, which belongs to her sister Kourtney Kardashian. With this wish, Kim approached the garden designers from “Heart Beat Gardening”. They develop and build organic gardens in Los Angeles and Seattle. When the garden designers explained to her that she could do much more with her garden, Kim changed her mind.
“Heart Beat Gardening” also placed great emphasis on sustainability in their work. Thanks to the self-sufficient garden, the carbon footprint is minimized, as the transport of food to the supermarket, as well as packaging, is eliminated. Additionally, native flowers were planted to attract beneficial insects, according to “Poosh.”
