Anyone who thinks a pond belongs only in the garden is mistaken. A mini water feature can easily be created on the balcony as well. All it takes is a container about the size of a flower pot, a plant bowl, or a zinc tub. Then you can start filling and decorating.
Alternatively, ready-made versions are available at hardware stores. In any case, the gentle splashing in the background provides as much relaxation as a conventional garden pond. Plus, bees, birds, and other insects appreciate a small water source, especially on hot summer days.
