1. Rosé
The Hollywood-induced hype called Barbiecore is gradually fading–both in fashion and in home decor. Instead of a lot of pink, the trend is now continuing with a pastel rosé as the summer color for 2024.
And for those who think this is still kitschy, the powder look can be easily neutralized with soft natural tones like cream, sand, or light gray. Spread across individual accessories, it quickly creates a calm, harmonious, but above all, atmospheric ambiance.
2. Lemon Yellow
Few fruits represent summer as much as the lemon. The citrus fruit awakens the spirits with its sour taste, both on the tongue and visually. Fans of the Mediterranean style have long enjoyed current bowl and vase models made of ceramic and in 3D lemon design.
With them, the refreshing lemon yellow as a color tone has returned to living spaces. Whether solid-colored on decorative pillows and dishes or as part of a pattern on walls and carpets, this summer color for 2024 has lost none of its cheerful character. 3. Turquoise
Another invigorating shade of blue is becoming a trend this year. Alongside the already omnipresent indigo blue, turquoise is now joining the summer color palette for 2024.
The aqua tone is exceptionally revitalizing and simultaneously evokes a longing or memory of the sea. And because oceans are known to be vast and seemingly endless, turquoise can also generously extend over individual wall areas, sofas, or–for the less daring–on cozy blankets.

4. Red-Orange
Here, too, an existing trend precedes everything: Last year, it was a bright red that conquered living spaces and surprisingly lasted long for such an intense color. Now, the color has evolved into a sunny, almost fiery red-orange. Occasionally, the trend also leans towards a more subdued mandarin tone.
Red-orange looks particularly good on small furniture like coffee and side tables, floor lamps, and large vases. Just looking at this summer color for 2024 creates a warm feeling of joy.
5. Berry Tones
Berry tones, with their variety, perfectly match the current zeitgeist: Sometimes they tend towards pastel, other times there’s a tendency towards colors like pink or blackberry. There’s always something for every taste.
In fashion, lilac is currently considered the summer color of the year 2024. And when decorating, you can certainly opt for this gentle color tone. But it’s the vibrant berry colors that spread good cheer in living spaces and therefore definitely belong on pillows, blankets, or table lamps.
