What You Need for a Natural Drain Cleaner
If the drain is clogged, you likely already have the natural drain cleaner at home. Instead of chemicals, you can use household items. Here’s what you need for a DIY drain cleaner:
- small glass of vinegar essence
- 4 tablespoons of baking soda
- warm water
Tip: To prevent the baking soda from spreading all over the sink, it’s best to add it with a spoon.

Cleaning the Drain–Here’s How
Once you have the three ingredients, you can get started:
- First, add four tablespoons of baking soda directly into the drain.
- Then pour a small glass of vinegar essence afterward. When the two ingredients meet, it will fizz a bit in the drain.
- Once the fizzing stops, proceed to the next step. Pour warm water afterward–and the drain is clean again, without any chemicals.
