A small component that can detach unnoticed–that’s exactly what Imtron GmbH is warning about in a recall of certain Koenic brand smoothie makers. Koenic is a private label of electronics retailers Media Markt and Saturn. Under certain circumstances, a part of the bottle cap could fall into the drinking bottle. What can affected customers do?

Recall of Certain Smoothie Makers

Imtron GmbH has issued a safety warning for certain Koenic smoothie makers, model KSBL-TR 456224. Devices purchased before February 2026 are affected.

According to the company, in rare cases, a small component can detach from the lid of the drinking bottle. The risk is particularly high if the lid has been washed in the dishwasher multiple times and then opened.

If the part falls into the bottle, it can pose a danger when drinking: If the component goes unnoticed, there is a possibility of swallowing it.
